Although tea has only been grown in North Turkey on the foothills of the Ponte Mountains recently (the first plantation here was founded during the Second World War, this Turkish tea has acquired its own unique identity and great popularity. It is excellent for drinking while smoking a water-pipe. A red, strongly aromatic, finely ground tea. If the traditional method of preparation is observed, then this tea produces a dark red-brown infusion in the glass, with a mildly sweet taste and captivating properties. It is served in a Turkish pot with a glass. This tea is taken with sugar.
